The Nautical Institute shares knowledge, expertise and experience both internally amongst our members, and externally as a consultative body and research partner. We are dedicated to improving standards of those involved in control of seagoing craft, and maintain the Institute as an international centre of nautical excellence.
We meet regularly to share expertise, make representations to Governments, consult for industry bodies, and advance the maritime industry in Australia.
The South East Australia Branch represents members from New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, the ACT and South Australia. We hold regular meetings in Sydney, Canberra and New South Wales. We engage with our members through our journal Seaways, The Navigator, regular communication and partner events.
