Maritime Education & Training
We have expertise in all aspects of maritime education and training (MET), with members actively engaged in teaching the next generation of maritime professionals. Training includes a range of courses, addressing the needs of domestic commercial vessels, STCW training, VTS training, and a range of short courses to support different requirements both afloat and ashore.
Australia has a vibrant and active network of maritime training institutions with state of the art simulation. Nautical Institute members are also involved in cutting edge training on autonomous systems.

Hunter TAFE also has a large maritime training contingent, as does Challenger TAFE in Fremantle.
